A painting commissioned by the Tamar Belle Heritage Group at Bere Ferrers depicting the station at the time of the accident  that happened on 24th September 1917 when 10 New Zealand soldiers died. The painting that is now on the station was unveiled by the New Zealand High Commissioner on the 100th anniversary of the event.

The Colonel Stephens Museum has made a new display featuring the Colonel's development of economical motive power, especially petrol driven.

To this end a friend, who is a fellow member of the East Kent 0 Gauge Group, David Hayes, has donated his model of a Ford railmotor and I have made a representation of St. Michael's tunnel from which it emerges.
